PRESS RELEASE: Mark My Time Digital Bookmark

CHANDLER HEIGHTS, AZ – Over the years, the Mark-My-Time™ digital bookmark has helped thousands of students accurately monitor their required reading times. As a result, it has become a frequently used reading tool both in the home and in schools across the country. Now, the product that has proven to be so effective in getting kids excited about reading and actually wanting to read more, is even better. In addition to a traditional countdown timer and cumulative timer, the new and improved Mark-My-Time digital bookmark also features a special 60-second countdown which is ideal for fluency testing. So students, as well as their teachers and parents, can not only tell how long they’ve been reading, but also how quickly.

Like the original Mark-My-Time digital bookmark, the newest generation product is so convenient and easy to use. Simply push a button to set the timer for either a countdown or cumulative mode. With the countdown timer, students know, at a glance, how much time is remaining in their reading session. The cumulative timer is ideal for multiple reading sessions or when students need to know, collectively, how much they’re read in a day or even a week.

With its electronic functions and fun colors, it’s easy to see why the Mark-My-Time digital bookmark encourages kids to make reading a daily habit. And now there are even more colors from which to choose. New to the product offering are yellow, red and fuchsia bookmarks, which complete the original selection of neon green, blue and purple.

Sized like a traditional bookmark to fit neatly between the pages of any book, the Mark-My-Time digital bookmark is made of polyethylene plastic for added durability. At the top is a digital clock that’s powered by an inexpensive, replaceable watch battery.

Parents will appreciate the fact that the digital bookmark has been tested and approved by a variety of parenting and academic organizations. The Mark-My-Time digital bookmark has received the National Parenting Center Seal of Approval, as well as the Mr. Dad Seal of Approval. It has also been named Creative Child Kids’ Product of the Year and has won The Family Review Center gold award and the Fat Brain Toy Award in the category of teaching toys and tools.

In addition to serving as a useful tool during reading sessions, the Mark-My-Time digital bookmark is ideal for timing music practice sessions, timed math fact activities and homework study sessions. Ideal for children five years and older, the Mark-My-Time digital bookmark is available nationwide at leading bookstores, discount drug chains and wholesale clubs at an average retail price of $8.95.

Review: Lalo Set of 5 Bangles

Description (taken from ChicExecs):

When spring arrives and sun-kissed delights sparkle in the air, the joy of nature invites you to relax and enjoy the sunlight, and ask your loved one “Voulez-vous dancer avec moi ce soir?” all the while surrounded by gardens full of flowers. After hours spent dreaming in green fields covered with morning dew you whisper to your loved one, “what a beautiful day”. Then like all small creatures at this time of the year, you fall in love. This was Orna Lalo's inspiration for her Summer 2010 Lalo Treasures collection, The Birds and the Beads. The perfect summer accessory. The set of 5 bangles are hand decorated and made out of resin which makes them comfortable and easy to wear. There are many more color schemes available as well as matching necklaces, earrings, rings and pins. Retail prices range from $30 up to $240.00 The bangles retail for $55.00 Lalo Treasures is distributed throughout the USA and Canada by African Express, a 20 year old distributor of designer jewelry.

The bangles are absolutely breathtaking! They turn an ordinary, everyday outfit into something brand because they know to make a fashion statement. These bangles would be a great Easter gift.

Disclosure: I received a set of bangles from www.ae-imports.com so that I could write an honest review. My opinions are 100% mine.

Making It Pretty

It has been beautiful out the past couple of days. The sun has been shining and the breeze is just right. The dogs are loving this too because my husband and I both will let them stay outside longer. They would happily spend hours out there when the weather is nice. They like to play in the snow but their little paws can only stand so much cold. If I ever end up deciding to do some different landscaping and things, the only I would be able to have flowers is if I put them in one of those window boxes. If I tried to plant them in the yard, the dogs would end up causing a massacre with the flowers and then I would end up livid because I would have done all that work for nothing. One of the main reasons I feel this way is because different plants and flowers are poisonous to dogs. I love them like they are my children and I do everything in my power to make sure that they stay healthy and happy.

When I was young, I would go around picking flowers for my Mom, Grandma and Aunt. I can see Damien and Jordan doing the exact same thing. Both boys are so sweet and they are wonderful at sharing with everyone. They share with each other, with other kids, with adults, even with the dogs. This is another good reason to invest in some window boxes rather than just planting them in the yard. My favorite flowers are daisies so I would really like to have some of them in a window box. I'm also a fan of tulips so I might have to put each type of flowers on opposite ends of the house.
