#HGG X-Shade Power Inverter #review

A couple of months ago, on two separate occassions, I ended up having to get a jump start from someone at work in order to make it home.  I was at the mercy of others when the engine wouldn't turn over and it was really frustrating.  If only I had this X-Shade Power Inverter at that time. 

The power inverter will allow me to start my car without having to depend on someone else  If I am somewhere alone, I can get my car to start by myself which makes me feel a lot safer.  I haven't had a chance to use this product on my car yet but I have used it to charge other things. 

So far I have used this power inverter to charge my tablet, cell phone and my laptop all while sitting in my car.  My husband has used this product on several of his tools.  It's a great gadget to have!

Car Sun Shade By X-Shade #review

I have two dogs who love to go for car rides.  I live in Kentucky and the summertime can be scorching hot.  I don't like it when it's 100 degrees out and I'm sure my dogs don't either, especially since they naturally have higher temperatures than humans.  I am really happy with my Car Sun Shade by X-Shade.  

My dogs are no longer blinded by sunlight and the backseat doesn't get nearly as hot.  Of course I have the air conditioner blasting cold air and I let the car cool off as much as possible before allowing then get in.  I feel much better about letting them go on their beloved car rides thanks to X-Shade. 

Car Duster #carduster #review

I usually take my car to the car wash whenever it needs a good scrubbing.  Now that I have my very own car duster, I don't need to take it somewhere to remove dirt and dust from my cars exterior. 

It's super easy to use and does a wonderful job thanks to the microfiber duster.  The best thing about this product is that you don't have to use water to get your car clean.  You just extend the handle and then let the duster do all the work.  How easy is that?

Sidekick Pet Car Seat Cover #review

I have two dogs and I take them everywhere I can.  They love getting in the car and going to the park or to visit family and friends.  My husband and I used to just put a blanket down to cover the backseat and let them lay on that.  I received my Sidekick Pet Car Seat Cover and I am in love with it!  It protects your car seats from claw marks, liquids, dirts and more.  When it's time to clean this product, you can just throw it in the washing machine!  How cool is that?

There are adjustable straps at both sides of the cover.  One set goes around the headrests in the back of your car.  The other set can either go around the front seat headrests and create an enclosed little area or you can place them in the floor and not use them. 

The center part of the cover has a non-slip area on the bottom which makes it easy for your pets to stay in position while you are driving.  There are little cut outs that can be used to pull the seatbelt hooks through.  This product also comes with a seatbelt that you can use to strap your dog in. 

My only real criticism is that no instructions were included with the product.  Yes, I was able to figure out how it needed to be installed pretty easily but it still would have been nice to have something to look at to make sure that I was doing everything properly.

TaoTronics Bluetooth Car Adapter #review

I have used a lot of bluetooth products and my most recent find is the TaoTronics Bluetooth Car Adapter.  It is a complete car kit that includes a bluetooth music receiver and a USB charging kit.  It has a built in microphone so that you can receive calls while on the road safely.  With all of the accidents that you hear about on the news, I'm really surprised at how many people I see driving along with their phone at their ear.  The only way that I have a conversion while driving is by using bluetooth to talk to someone using my car's stereo.

This particular product requires an auxillary plug in order to use it.  The sound quality was good and the set up was really easy.  One really cool feature is that you can set it up with two separate devices.  This comes in handy for my household because I can either connect it to my phone or my husband can connect it to his.  It's a really great product!

Veneev Car Windshield Sun Shade #review

I spend a lot of time in my car.  I normally sit in my car on my lunch break.  I like to get away and spend some quality time with myself while I listen to music and use the internet on my cell phone.  Some days it is really hard to enjoy my alone time because it's extremely hot and the sun will be beating down on my car.

I don't know why I never thought about using a sunshade.  It's really nice to get in my car and not have it feel like I am in a sauna.  The Veneev Car Windshield Sunshade does a great job at deflecting the sunlight and keeping my car at a more reasonable temperature.

Joy Riding With The Alpatronix MX101 Universal Car Mount and Car Cradle Dock Station #review

I spend a lot of time in my car and I usually use my playlist on my phone rather than listen to the radio. The Alpatronix MX101 Universal Car Mount and Car Cradle Dock Station has made this a lot easier. There are times when I get in the car and I want to listen to a specific artist, so I hit play and start driving.

Occasionally, I will wish that I had chosen a different genre or something but I'm stuck listening to what I put on originally because my phone is in my purse. I won't go digging around for my phone while I am driving. So I end up having to pull over or wait until I'm at a red light. With this car mount, I always know where my phone is because it's right there by my dash board.

 I still don't change the band or artist until I am at a stop light but the process is much quicker because I don't have to search for my cell phone. It is also really helpful when you need to use your GPS. I really like it that my phone is stationary and I can quickly glance at it to make sure that I am heading in the right direction. All in all, this is an amazing product.

I spend a lot of time in my car and on my cell phone.  I have a habit of just laying my cell phone in the passenger seat while I am driving.  There have been several times that I have taken a turn or pushed on my brake pedal and my phone will go flying into to the floor.  Most of the time when this happens, it's because someone in front of me slams on their brake.  There have been a few times that my phone has went so far as to go between the right side of the passenger seat and the car door.  I really hate when this happens because it's a lot harder to find...  With the Universal Air Vent Mount Cell Phone Holder, I don't have to worry about this happening.  Unless of course I forget to put my phone in it. 

I really like having a safe place to store my cell phone because I don't want it to break or get damaged.  Another really good feature this product has is that it goes on your air vent, so if you need to Mapquest directions or something, you can see the directions easily.  This item can rotate 360 degrees which means that you can choose how your phone is displayed.  If your cell phone is 5.5 inches wide or smaller, the Universal Air Vent Mount Holder should fit your device.  I was afraid that using this in my car would make it hard to feel the air conditioning and heat.  While it did diminish the amount of air/heat somewhat, it didn't make that much of a difference. I am really glad that I have this phone mount!

I'm thinking about getting everyone in my family cell phone accessories this holiday season.  With how much we are all on our phones, they would come in handy.  What do you think?  Would you enjoy getting accessories for your favorite device?

HOLIDAY GIFT GUIDE Review: Accutire Programmable Digital Tire Gauge

My husband is a truck driver for FedEx and right after he was hired on, he made a list of things that he would like to have because they would make his job easier. The first thing on his list was a Digital Tire Gauge. I really wanted him to have this product as well because with all the driving he does and all the blown semi tires that I see on the highway, it would make me feel better knowing that he can keep an accurate reading on his tire pressure.
