Review: Rain Tee

As I'm sure you all know, I'm addicted to 100% organic products. Rain Tees are designed by young people in areas where the rain forest is endangered. For every shirt that is sold, a tree will be planted in Costa Rica. If you're going to buy a shirt, why not buy one that is helping make the world a better place?

Review & Giveaway: Hair Coverings

I received the maroon narrow pre tied headband and I love it. I use it everyday when I wash my face and apply makeup. It keeps my hair out of my face perfectly. Ceiling Fans

My husband and I have been discussing putting a Ceiling Fan in our bedroom. We both always seem to be hot, even with the air on. Plus, I love to turn on Ceiling Fans when I'm going to sleep. I've always wanted for the room I'm sleeping in to be a little chilly because I love snuggling up with a blanket. We haven't decided on the perfect fan yet, but I'm sure we'll make a decision soon. I've been checking out Hansen Wholesale Ceiling Fans and they have tons to choose from.

The Fanimation Ceiling Fans are very unique, so they are a possibility. My husband prefers the Emerson Ceiling Fans, so we may end up going with one of those. We could use a ceiling fan in the family room too. We want to put a pool table and air hockey table in there and it would nice to be able to stay cool.

Review & Giveaway: PosterBrain

PosterBrain allows you to make posters choosing your own custom size. The process was so simple that I felt like I must have done something wrong. I didn't. The site is extremely user friendly. My husband and my dad are really into photo enlargements right now so this was a great opportunity for me to get the hubby a little something. The picture he chose for poster printing was a little risque which is why I didn't take a picture of it to post on here. Take my word for it, it turned out perfectly!

They are wonderful when it comes to communication. I received emails stating that they received my order, were working on my order and I received an email telling me that my poster was ready to be shipped. Plus, they offer free gift wrap, 1 day printing which means that you can receive same-day shipping on orders placed before 2pm EST. and they offer a flat rate shipping charge of only $4.99.

This would make a unique Christmas gift and right now they are offering my readers free shipping on purchases made because of this post. All you need to do is send me an email stating that you are ordering a poster through this site and I will forward your email to the sponsor and they will email your gift code directly.

One reader from this blog will receive their very own custom poster!
Open to residents of the US and Canada
The books will be mailed out by the sponsor

Transportation

Sometimes when I'm bored, I surf the net and look at different cars. I will build my own custom car and then see how much it will cost. Most of the time it's not something affordable but that doesn't mean that I can't have some fun daydreaming. I was in a pretty bad wreck and it's hard for me to drive sometimes because I feel like everyone is going to hit me. Since my husband and I started driving a truck, I find it much easier to get out on the road without having a panic attack. I told him that from now on, our vehicles have to be an SUV or truck. I find it much easier to see other vehicles when I'm higher up and I don't feel safe enough in a car. I have done some searches about wiki cars so that I can get some information about the cars before I drive them.

My husband and I checked out the gmc terrain and I think it has a really nice style to it. Five seats is plenty for us and I'm really happy with the fuel-efficient powertrains. I don't want a car that is rear wheel drive because I don't feel like they are safe in snowy and icy weather. I definitely need to have front-wheel drive but I would be even happier with four-wheel or all-wheel drive. I like Honda's and so we checked out the honda element but I'm not a fan of the boxy design. If I were able to drive a regular car, I would probably go with the kia forte koup because it's affordable.

Tutoring

I have always been really good when it comes to math. I watched a lot of my friends struggle and ask for Math Help. I know some of my friends could have used some help but were too embarrassed to ask for it. That's the great thing about Online Tutoring. This is a great option for people who may be too afraid to ask for the help they need.

From my experience with math, I've noticed that most people needed Algebra Help. Algebra was one of my favorite subjects. There are some things in life that come easy to some people, while others struggle. I always tried to help whenever possible.

Window Boxes

I really enjoy looking at homes that are pleasing to the eye. When a person takes the time to make their home look good, it relaxes me. I love window flower boxes because they add character to a home. They aren't something that everyone has, so it's a nice way to stand out. Choosing what flowers to add to a window box can be relaxing as well.

Plants have a calming effect and they give a house a more "homey" feel. Window boxes are great for people who love to garden because they give you an extra place to spruce up. What's your take on this?

The Internet

I don't know how I would survive without the internet. I can remember dial-up and I am so glad that technology has come so far in a short amount of time. Thankfully there are satellite broadband service providers, so we don't have to wait as long to do what we want or need to on the internet.

Satellite broadband service providers have taken our world to a whole new level. There are rural satellite broadband providers as well. Just because you don't live in a big city doesn't mean that you have to suffer with a slow internet connection.

But just as Mike's future began to glow brighter than ever before, he sacrificed everything in order to stay by his expectant girlfriend, Scarlet, and be a good father. Nearly 20 years later, Mike has just been passed over for a big promotion at work, his marriage is failing, and his teenage kids can't stand him. His dreams long gone and his family falling apart, Mike takes to staying with his best friend, Ned (Thomas Lennon), a former high school geek-turned-techno billionaire. Then, seemingly out of nowhere, Mike is transported back into his teenage body and given the given the unique opportunity to relive his salad days. But while Mike may look 17 again, his thirtysomething outlook at life puts him hopelessly at odds with the class of 2009. When Mike discovers that by attempting to recapture his best years he could risk losing all the best things he ever experienced in life, the time comes to make a decision that could have a drastic impact on both his past and his future. My Thoughts:

Furniture

I love to decorate! I get excited about different fabrics and patterns. Sprucing up a room can make it feel like a whole new place. You can purchase one new piece of furniture and change the entire theme of a room. When I was a teen, I seriously thought about becoming an interior designer. I always had so much fun piecing together my own little area. Even as a child, I got a thrill out of making my room my own.

Now that the internet is so popular, it's really easy to find furniture online. I like being able to browse different websites and get ideas on how I want to make a room look and feel. Preparing myself for the upcoming change is always exciting. Plus, then I have more time to think about what I really want my rooms to say.

Go Green!

This is a Sponsored Post written by me on behalf of Ramblers Way. All opinions are 100% mine.

I'm really proud of companies that are taking the time to make products that are environmentally friendly and safe for the people who use the product. What is the point in using a product that can make you sick? Why choose to use something that is going to destroy our planet if there is an alternative? Ramblers Way is a family business that started a natural care product line back in 1970. This is an ecologically responsible company that decided to take a very admirable step and create products that work from ingredients that aren't harmful to our environment. This company produces wool as a fabric for people of any age. Wool is a natural product that can be used to make many different things without the use of harmful products. Wool can insulate, absorb and even repel odors. The wool Ramblers Way uses is all natural, non-synthetic and chemical free. Their superfine garments are free of loose ends. They only use premium wool in their products. Purchasing products from companies like this is a great way to start being environmentally responsible. Since I started using eco-friendly products, I have noticed a huge difference in the way I feel. Not only do natural products work better, they make you feel better because you are doing the right thing.

Hips Don't Lie

When I was younger we received a call saying that my Granny was at the emergency room. She had slipped in the shower and was hurt pretty bad. She had to get hip replacements and has been forced to use a walker for most of my life. The women on my mother's side are so similar that I know one day I'll most likely be facing this type of problem as well.

In order to prepare myself, I've been doing some research on issues on zimmer durom cup so that I have all of the facts long before I am faced with something like this. There are different zimmer durom cup types and I want to be able to make an informed decision when it becomes necessary. The durom cup hip replacement has come a long way and hopefully, it will be even better in the future.

Review: HEXBUG Nano

The HEXBUG Nano is a super cool robotic toy that easily entertains both children and adults. These little robots are small but wickedly fast. My husband and I were pitting them against each other and I felt like a kid again. We were so engrossed in our competition that before I knew it, an hour had passed. It was fun to watch them and see how they react to different objects. I kept wishing that they would spring to life and start talking. Maybe I like the Transformers movies a little too much... I had a great time playing with these and I think they would make an excellent Christmas present.

The HEXBUG Nano has a website called Hands & Stars which is a great learning tool for any age. The site is based on a secret society type team of scientists who were obsessed with science and technology. It's fascinating to find out different fun facts and it's a great way to broaden the mind.

Gold

I have been seeing and hearing so many advertisements regarding gold. There are so many businesses that will give you cash for your unwanted gold and even pay your shipping costs. There's also been a lot of talk about how gold doesn't seem to loose value as quickly as the dollar bill.

With all the information available regarding gold, it's not surprising that people are trying to figure out how to make the most of what they have. My husband and I have been going through some boxes of old stuff and trying to get rid of what we don't need. I'm hoping to find some gold in one of the boxes so that I can start researching what my options are.

Getting Caught Up

We ended up going away for Thanksgiving and I didn't have much time to prepare. Sorry I haven't been blogging my usual amount but an opportunity presented itself and I just had to take it. I'm working on getting everything caught up and you should be seeing a lot of new posts from in the next couple of days. Hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving and thank you so much for visiting my blog:)

We Be Jammin'!

This is a Sponsored Post written by me on behalf of Yamaha. All opinions are 100% mine.

It's no secret that the I believe the iPod is has changed my life. It's a wonderful product that allows you to do so many different things and it's not big or bulky or hard to use. I use mine to listen to music mostly, but I also download eBooks, play games and check my email. It's nice to be able to do so much with one piece of equipment. I'm so attached to my iPod that I take it with me most of the time. We can hook up to our car stereo and play whatever song we are in the mood to hear. I use my iPod most often in my bedroom while writing blog posts. I also like to use it while I'm getting ready for the day. The only thing I wish I had was a docking station because I like to listen to my music really loud. I've put the Yamaha PDX-60 on my Christmas list and I'm crossing my fingers that I get it. This product is wireless, has no sound delays and a quality sound. You can also charge two separate iPhones or iPods at the same time. My favorite thing about this docking station is that it's wireless, so you can easily move it from room to room when necessary.

Extended - Slim Perfect Giveaway

This giveaway has been extended to Dec 15th, so if you haven't entered or if you would like to earn extra entries, visit the original blog post here.

Child Safety

Every mother that I know freaks out about baby proofing. Mothers who love their children want to do everything perfectly to keep their bundle of joy safe. Reading the KidSafe Blog might help parents make sound decisions because they are dedicated to giving responsible child safety tips.

Watching my new mother friends obsess about baby gates and child safety locks rubbed off on me. I may not be a mother, but that doesn't mean that I don't adore the children in my life. I try to do all that I can to learn about child safety so that I can use what I found out when I'm around the kiddies. KidSafe can be found on Facebook, Twitter and YouTube.
