Desire Blackhead & Blemish Remover Kit #review

I hate to admit it but I have several blackheads, especially on my nose.  No matter what facial cleansing products I use, they are always there.  Normally, I would pick at them and squeeze them out.  I know that's disgusting but I wanted to get rid of them.

I would always end up with marks all over my nose from all the picking.  I recently started using the Desire Blackhead & Blemish Remover Kit and I am so happy I could do a little happy dance! 

After using this product, it takes a while for the blackheads to present themselves again.  I have been using a cleanser and toner once the blackheads are removed and I do think that they are getting smaller.  I'm so thrilled about this!

I have very dry skin and with winter coming, it's only going to get worse. I have tried several different creams and lotions but I hadn't found one that I really loved until I tried Lady Soma's Skin & Nail Treatment.

When I first laid eyes on the Jalousie Novelty Desert Ice Cream Lip Gloss, I knew that I had to have it!  I love the dessert look and adding lip gloss was such a great idea!  It's fun, adorable and serves a purpose.  Every time I take my ice cream lip gloss out, I can't help but smile.

Even though I am an adult, I still love cute little girly things like the Jalousie Novelty Glitter Owl Lip Gloss. Sometimes a woman needs to just kick back and remember what it was like to be a kid.  I might not have had this owl lip gloss as a kid but just looking at them reminds me of simpler times.

TerraCherié Natural Body Brush #drybrushing #review

I love taking showers.  I love how it feels when the water hits my skin and I especially love feeling fresh and clean.  My routine only takes about ten to fifteen minutes and I treasure every second.  I have used loofahs for years now and before that I just used washcloths.

I recently received my TerraCherié Natural Body Brush in the mail and it is has been my first experience with a body brush.  The first couple of times I used it, it was pretty rough which I expected.  After a few uses, it began to soften up.  The body brush has a separate brush and handle so that you can use the brush by itself if you want.  I was afraid that the brush would disconnect from the handle because the only thing holding them together is pressure.  I didn't have any issues with this.  The only thing that I would change, would be to add a snap or locking bump so that even after a ton of uses, the handle would stay attached.

It was really awkward (which is to be expected) trying to use this for the first time.  You have to remember that I am used to the little loofahs, so having something this big is going to take some getting used to.  It wasn't uncomfortable or anything, just a little weird.  I really like how it exfoliates.  I definitely feel cleaner after using the TerraCherié Natural Body Brush which is what showering is all about.  I am really happy with my new body brush!

If you couldn't figure it out already, I love colorful grooming products!  When you take something that I think is kind of gross, like removing hair, and pair it with a pretty tool, it makes the whole experience a little better in my opinion.  That's why I am so excited about my new Pink PreciseGryp Stainless Steel Tweezers!

Get Silky Hair With Petunia Skincare's Gentle Detangling Hair Brush #review

I have a very tender head.  Sometimes when I go to brush my hair, my scalp will feel almost sore.  As soon as the brush touches my scalp, I will try so hard to keep the brush away from my head. 

The Petunia Skincare's Gentle Detangling Hair Brush was made for people like me.  The bristles are so soft and flexible that you hardly feel like you brushing your hair.  At the same time, it makes it way through all of the tangles to leave your hair full of body.  The first time I used this brush, I was amazed that I didn't feel any pulling while running the brush through my hair.

Petunia's Skincare's Gentle Detangling Hair Brush works wonders and I am so glad that I have one now! This would have been perfect when I was kid and would take off running whenever my mom would head my way with a brush in hand. This brush is wonderful!

Pluck The Strays With Care Excellency Tweezers #review

Purple is my favorite color.  One of the best things about a woman is that there are so many different kinds of beauty tools and a lot of them can be rather stylish.  That's how I feel about my new Care Excellency Tweezer in Lilac.

As I have gotten older, stray hairs seem to pop out out of nowhere.  I hate thick black hairs and want to remove them as soon as I lay eyes on them.  Now I get to pull out my pretty purple tweezers and take care of the problem quickly and easily.  I really like how the tweezers fit in my hand.  They make it really easy to get a strong grip on the even the thinnest of hairs. 

It is a lot easier to take care of yourself when it comes to grooming if you have products that work.  It also helps when those products are pretty because it makes you feel special.  Or, at least, it makes me feel special.

KlipPro Jr. Fingernail Clipper #review

I always used to buy the cheap fingernail clippers.  My thought was that they would all basically do the same thing and why do I need fancy clippers when the less expensive ones will do the same thing.  I am surprised to say that all fingernail clippers are not the same.  

When I used the cheap ones, my nails would end up looking kind of jagged and I could never cut them just right.  With the KlipPro Jr. Fingernail Clipper, I have perfectly even fingernails and toenails.

These nail clippers are brushed stainless steel and have a bit of weight to them.  They fit perfectly in hand and give me a nice grip before clipping my nail which in turn allows me to cut more evenly.  There is also a built in nail file that works a lot better than those little emery boards that I have been using. 

The KlipPro Jr. Fingernail Clipper fits easily in your purse or pocket, so you can give yourself a manicure on the go.  I'm still in shock over how much better my nails look.  Too bad I didn't try these out at the beginning of the summer.  My toenails would have looked a lot better...

Large Stainless Steel Nail Clipper with Nail File #review

My mani/pedi tool collection is now complete. I am in love with these stainless steel nail clipper set. The nail clippers are stainless steel and just by holding them you can tell that they are high quality. The set comes with a large nail clipper that includes a nail file and it has a hole in it at the top so you can carry it around with you on your keychain. The set also came with an emery board and a cute little case to keep the set together.

When I received these items in the mail I decided to go ahead and try them out. I was really happy with they cut my nails. My previous nail clippers left the ends of my nails looking a little jagged. Large Stainless Steel Nail Clipper with Nail File left the ends of my nails completely smooth. They cut right through the nail on your first try. I think that is mostly because of how the handle fits in your hand while using it. It feels really comfortable.

I am so glad that I have this set. I like having quality tools that help me take care of my appearance. Now I want to give my self a manicure and pedicure several times a week instead of every other week... This is a wonderful product and I highly recommend it.

This would be a wonderful stocking stuffer!  I'll have to keep this in mind because Christmas is right around the corner.

Spoil Your Skin With Marie Ernst Beauty Bar @MarieErnstUS #review

I don't usually use bar soap on my face because in my experience, it usually dries out my already dry skin.  I was pleasantly surprised with Marie Ernst Beauty Bar.  This is the coolest soap that I have ever seen!  It was delivered in with a cute little bow looking like the present that it is.  One of the bars is a skin moisturizer and the other is skin softener pumice.  When I removed the soap from the boxes, I was giddy like a child. 

One of the reasons that I decided to try the Marie Ernst Beauty Bar is because it is hypo-allergenic and cruelty free.  I hate the idea of beauty products being tested on helpless animals.  You can purchase the beauty bar with or without a scent. 

I thought that the pumice side might be rough against my skin but it wasn't.  I mean, it does exfoliate but it's gentle about it.  After using this beauty bar for the first time, my skin felt brand new.

I only have one criticism and that's that the lemon smell is a bit overwhelming. I got a big whiff of it when I opened the box it was delivered in.  Other than that, I really like everything about this magical bar of soap.  It's amazing how healthy your skin can feel when you use a facial soap that works.

Makeup Brush Set by Aurora Collections #review

I had been using the same makeup brushes for years before receiving the Makeup Brush Set by Aurora Collections.  I would just was them every now and then and then go right back to using them.  I forgot how nice it was to apply your makeup with fresh brushes.  My foundation went on smoother and my eyeshadow looked fabulous!  I had never used professional quality brushes, I always bought whatever was on sale.

I am also in love with the case!  Just look at how gorgeous it is!  I really like being able to keep all of my brushes together in this beautiful case.  It gives a little extra character to my vanity.  Now I just need to learn some more application techniques to try out.  These brushes are so soft and feel so clean.  I have pretty sensitive skin too and I didn't have a reaction to the bristles which is a definite plus.

It's hard to find quality products that are this stylish.  I really like that they arrived with a plastic covering over the brushes.  I've decided that I will keep using the plastic in hopes that it will help keep the brushes in good condition.  So far, so good. 

It's probably pretty obvious that I only have positive feelings about these brushes. They are simply amazing! I think that this might be the perfect gift for the holidays.
