Flowers

When my husband was deployed to Afghanistan, he still had a way of sweeping me off my feet. He would do little countdowns three days before an event, like my birthday and Valentine's day. The first one was always gorgeous yet simple, the second was a bit bigger and the last one, the delivery would always be over the top! When I would hear the doorbell ring, I would get all giddy. I had floral centerpieces in every room in the house. In a couple of places I had to put up more than one.

He did such a great job of picking out flower arrangements. I'm sure I have over twenty vases just from him and his. My table seemed empty once the flowers had died and the vases went under the sink. Just writing about this is making me want to get some flowers for the kitchen. Flowers are the perfect thing to bring a room to life.

Flex-Tastic

My poor feet hurt all the time. For the longest time I didn't know why my toes felt like they were stuck together. Then I found out about Flex-Tastic and I have been using them every night for five minutes before I go to sleep. My husband thought that they were the products that separate your toes so you can paint them easier. They are similar in some ways but not in others. Flex-Tastic helps to "realign and relieve the pain in toes." Once the five minutes is up, I take them off and I instantly feel the pressure lift. It's amazing. This is one of those products that re-enforce my love for blog reviews.

Two of my readers will receive their own ProFoot Flex-Tastic
Open to residents of the US and Canada

Seeing Is Believing

Have you ever wondered why prescription eyeglasses cost so much? They are a necessity for some people and that means they have to fork over tons of money just to be able to see clearly. I hate to see people suffering because of their inability to pay lots of money for certain items.

The majority of the people in my family and most of my friends wear eyeglasses. The biggest complaint that most of them have is outrageous prices. Zenni Optical has reasonable prices for high quality glasses. The best part is, you don't have to trade style for price. Hip and trendy glasses are available and made using the latest technology. How can they sell prescription glasses at a reasonable price? It's easy, they cut out the middleman.

Zenni provides full prescription eyeglasses for as little as $8 a pair. That is an unbelievable price when you consider how much it would cost at other places. Even the shipping cost is cheap.

These glasses would be perfect for me because I usually end up losing or breaking mine. I don't see the point in spending lots of money on something that can break so easily. I'm like a disaster waiting to happen. It's better if I just stick with the cheap stuff, just ask my husband.

Do It Or Age Quickly by JB Berns

Aging is going to happen whether we like it or not and we have no control over that. We do, however, have the ability to delay the aging process if we are willing to take a little time out of our day to do a little something extra for our bodies and mind. Do It Or Age Quickly is full of simple tasks to do in only 60 seconds and while it won't stop the fact that we are going to get older, it will help you postpone looking and feeling older.

The 21 techniques mentioned in his book are meant to help both your body and your brain. I learned a lot about natural tooth whiteners that don't harm your teeth and tea that boosts your immune system. The stretches are probably my favorite topic because they are easy to do even after being in a car accident and having other physical problems. Help yourself and check out this book.

Overnight Mattress Complaints

With every product I purchase I expect quality customer service. I am the type of person that will boycott a store because of rude employees or horrible service. In today's world it is a lot easier to find out what type of company values certain stores have just by the reviews listed on different websites. When searching for bedroom furniture, my husband and I looked up different Overnight Mattress complaints and weren't able to find many at all. There is always going to be one or two people who hate every product available, so my usual suggestion is to try it out yourself. If there are hundreds of complaints, I would steer clear. One of the really great things about this company is that they offer a 120 night risk free trial of memory foam mattresses and then if you have Overnight Mattress complaints, you can get a full refund. They will even cover the cost of shipping the mattress back to their store. If the mattress you return is in good condition, they will donate it to someone in need. The only time you will not receive 100% of your money back because of Overnight Mattress complaints would be if there are stains, hairs, tears, etc. In this case, you would only receive 85% of the purchase price for a refund.

Weddings

I can still picture the my wedding day as if it were yesterday. I remember walking in and seeing the man that I love at the end of the aisle staring at me like I was the only other person in the room. We didn't spend an enormous amount of money on our pictures for the Wedding photo album. My husband and I like Photo Production's slogan "premium Photobooks, not premium prices.

There are so many things that go into getting the perfect Wedding photo albums. You have to think about the quality, customer service and whether or not you want online proofs. When I look back at my wedding day, I can honestly say that it was a perfect day.

Tropical Traditions Thick Rolled Oats

In my opinion organic foods taste better. The Tropical Traditions Thick Rolled Oats are perfect for making oatmeal, granola and oatmeal cookies. Most breakfast meals I made with the oats only took fifteen to twenty minutes to prepare. I loved adding in some fruit to give my breakfast a little extra zing. It's satisfying and a great source for protein and fiber.

Check Engine Light

Every time a check engine light goes off and I'm around, I want to get to an auto shop fast. The recalls for different makes and models has me nervous. I love having a car and I love being able to go from point a to point b. If the check engine light is on, I might as well not have a car because there's no way I will drive it.

Lucky for me, my husband loves to drive and he will go where he needs to go as long as he feels it's safe. He has been looking at the Ford F-150 and to be honest, he's been drooling. If he gets his dream truck, I'm sure he won't care what light comes on, he will still be out cruising. We are planning to visit some of my family in California, I already know where we can take our car, San Diego auto repair.

This is a Sponsored Post written by me on behalf of Speek. All opinions are 100% mine.

Technological advances are made every single day. There are new ways to connect and meet up with friends that you have lost touch with over the years. Speek is a teleconferencing system that works on cell phones, home phones and even internet calling sites like Skype and GoogleTalk. When my husband was deployed to Afghanistan, every phone call was a blessing and a scare. I never knew what to expect or when to expect a phone call. Living through that experience has made me so much more aware of how far we've come and how important technology is especially for those fighting in a war and the families that love them.

It doesn't matter if you are interested in using Speek for work or just for fun. I have already thought of some great uses for this app. This feature would have been nice when we were celebrating the holidays and everyone was fighting for a chance to talk to James. The next time my girls and I get together for a night out, we'll be able to coordinate easily since we can all be on the call at the same time. You are invited to register for private beta for free. I'm always trying to find new skin care products, especially the ones that are designed to fight the signs of aging. Even though I am only 27, I still think that by trying to prolong the signs of aging at a young age will be beneficial. One think I like to do is mix up my routine. I like to have three different shampoos, soaps and skin care products. This may not be true for some people, but it seems like my hair and skin start to reject a product if I use it daily for three or four days. This is why I like to mix it up.

My mom, grandma and granny all used Oil of Olay creams and only had great things to say about it. I started using the brand a few years ago and it just wasn't for me. I didn't like the smell or the feel. I've found some other really great facial creams that work a lot better for my dry skin.

There are so many new skin care products on the market that promise younger, firmer skin. While some of them seem to work wonders, others just don't live up to their name. One thing that I really like are those roll-on eye creams. They are so easy to use and I think that they will be around for a long time.

Swan Thieves by Elizabeth Kostova Audio Book

Andrew works as a psychiatrist but his passion is painting. His life is pretty ordinary and he isn't used to making rash decisions or acting "spontaneously". When he faces a patient that had an episode at an art museum, he finds himself drawn to the man in ways beyond his imagination. His patient, Robert, has captured Andrew's imagination and set him on a path to find out what happened in Robert's life that has made him the person that he is. Soon, Andrew finds out more than he bargained for.

Elizabeth is a natural-born storyteller. I was immediately drawn into Andrew's life and felt like I was the one conversing with his patient, Robert. This masterpiece should not be missed by any book lover.

The Perfect Mother's Day Gift

There are times that I feel like I'm on top of the world. For as long as I can remember I have loved giving more than receiving. One of the hardest people to get things for is my mom. I received the Frownies, a face-life in a bag, to review and as I pulled it out of my bag, she went nuts. She was like "is that what I think it is". I didn't know that she was familiar with this product so I was shocked when she yanked it out of my hand to get a better look. Right then, I knew I had to give it to her.

Products:
ph Balancing Complexion Wash
Immune Perfect Wrinkle Cream
Hydrator Spray
Facial Patches
All Natural Under Eye Treatment
Immune Shield Serum

My mom doesn't usually care about this sort of thing, so I was totally taken aback by her reaction to this Face Lift in a Bag. According to my mom, this is a "miracle worker". Mom has been using if for over a week now and she absolutely loves it. She had one particular line that was bugging her and it's slowly but surely diminishing.

This would make a great Mother's Day present!

I Saw The Sign

My dad was forced to retire from the Navy due to a heart condition. He was what the military dubbed a "lifer". He would have happily continued his service but that just wasn't in the cards for him. Luckily, he was awarded benefits and was still able to take care of his family. Even at eight years old, I knew that he would have rather been working because it made him feel useful. I wanted to own my own business and have him work for me. That way, if he was having a bad day, he could just take off.

I have always had a vivid imagination and I would go through several possibilities before coming to some sort of decision. I made artwork that would be hung in my office. I even came up with exhibition stands designs. I thought about traveling the world and having my business be a household name. I used to make tickets to get into one of my events. I even created brochures and
brochure holder displays
made with construction paper.

Keeping Food Fresh

My husband and I both suffer from the "my eyes are bigger than my stomach" syndrome. We end up making an enormous amount of food and then we are left with more servings than we know what to do with. I know what you're thinking, "just put it in a container and save it for the next day". The problem with that is it ruins the taste and we just end up throwing it out.

I just found out about these No Plastic airtight food containers, that keep food fresh for a longer period of time. With nine different sizes, you can find the perfect place to store baby food, fruit, bread or even soup since the containers are watertight too. They are made with food grade stainless steel and the lid has a silicone seal. One of my favorite qualities about this line is that you don't have to worry about your food getting freezer burn.

This product would come in really handy around the holidays, especially with the dividers. My family always has huge meals for celebrations like Christmas and Thanksgiving. We also always end up with leftovers but there is no easy way to put them in the refrigerator until later. You can separate the potatoes, corn and green beans in one container that will also stay fresh. How great is that?

I love to save money in every way I can. I'm constantly trying to find the best deal for my spending habits. Finding the best deal doesn't always mean it is the cheapest. I want quality but I also want to save a few bucks here and a few bucks there. When comparing DIRECT TV and cable costs, it's really a no-brainer.

For the majority of my life, I have had cable. I was reluctant to make the switch because I was unsure of how good DIRECTTV is and because I didn't want to have to sign a contract and then be stuck with poor service. So I did what anybody would do, I waited until someone I knew switched to Direct TV Satellite and then made the switch.

Moonlight Falls by Vincent Zandri

Richard (AKA Dick) used to be a detective but now is a P.I. Dick had a failed suicide attempt that left a bit of a bullet near his cerebral cortex. It would be more dangerous for doctors to try to remove the piece, so he is left with the burden of memory lost and the ability to distinguish right from wrong.

When his lover, Scarlet, is killed in what looks like a fit of rage, Dick can't help but wonder if he is the one responsible for her death. What's even more unsettling is that Scarlet is married to Dick's boss.

Moonlight Falls
is a brilliant whodunnit. A thrilling tale with amazing characters who come to life page after page. I'm so glad I had the opportunity to read this book. Mystery/Thriller fans everywhere need to get their hands on a copy.

How To Find A Woman...Or Not by Gary Morgenstein

For those of you who are new blog followers I must let you know that Gary Morgenstein is one of the authors on my top 10 favorites of all time. His book, Jesse's Girl was so awesome that I have told everyone I know to read it and they all say the same thing, "I loved it!" Anywho, he's done it once again, written a book that has hit a deeper part of me than most authors ever get to.

When you are trying to find a significant other a good way to pass some time or meet some great people is to see the world as a big singles bar. I have met some really great people while walking my dog or shopping at a store. Sometimes it turned into a relationship and sometimes it didn't. But how will you ever meet the right person if you aren't putting yourself out there? Gary's tips are right on point when it comes to a romantic relationship or even just a kindred spirit. Romantic relationships take a lot of time and effort, but so do lasting friendships.

This book was so much fun to read. Gary has a way with words that I can't quite describe in words. If you are single or even just looking to make some new connections, this book might be just the thing your looking for.

10. Wheeling your mother raises questions whether you’re a Momma’s Boy
11. Jokingly kissing another man creates suspicions because you sure don’t look that upset about a guy’s tongue in your ear
12. Kissing another woman underscores all their doubts about a man’s fidelity
13. Never friggin’ frowning — women don’t want a farbissineh (Yiddish for sourpuss)
As with everything else, women look at our pictures differently. I’ve often asked my friend Sid before one of his dates, so what does this woman do for a living and he says, I dunno, I just looked at her picture.
Women don’t operate quite that way. While the instant repulsive factor certainly works as much for them as us, they’re already calculating emotional possibilities based primarily on your picture.
1. Will you be fun?
2. Will you beat them with a strap?
3. Can you be trusted with a joint checking account?
And on and on, like the computers which guide probes to Jupiter. You can try and deceive them, but they’re way ahead of you at every turn. They are trained to be suspicious of us. Which is why I strongly urge you to be honest in your online profile. I can’t control their honesty, but at least I can work on our end.
Photo Tips.
You can’t show up for a date and lay a cardboard cutout on the chair while you hide by the bar, answering remotely. You must be there in the flesh, boys. That means if you have a receding hairline or none at all, don’t show the picture of you in the old ‘fro. If you have gray hair, that shot of you with black locks won’t cut it. And taking a picture of yourself on your tippy toes is dumb. If you’re short, you’re short. Get over it.
1. Take a recent photo. All you need is one, preferably with the date embedded in the corner, showing you look like who you are
2. Not too close, which might show old acne scars
3. Smile. You are happy to meet her. You are looking at each other
4. Show off your best features: smile, hair, clothing, the Maserati, two-level home, boat, beautiful dog, expensive furniture, anything suggesting you’re worth a conversation
5. If you have a kid, post a shot of you together — but ask them as a matter of privacy. They might not want their photos in this setting
6. Post a casually dressed photo and one of you in a suit so she can imagine you on a Saturday night as well as leaving her apartment in the morning heading for work
