Help For Haiti

This is a Sponsored Post written by me on behalf of Cryo-Cell International. All opinions are 100% mine.

Umbilical cord blood is blood that remains in the umbilical cord and placenta at the time of birth.  This blood is full of stem cells and has been used in place of bone marrow in transplants.  Mothers are now encouraged to save their newborn baby's cord blood to be used later in life.  The cord blood would be a perfect match and there would be no need to wait for a donor.

Chemotherapy and radiation have many adverse reactions such as weakening the immune system.  Umbilical cord blood may help build up blood and strengthen the immune system.  Science is constantly advancing and I wouldn't be surprised if they end up finding a lot more uses for this blood.

During the month of February, Cryo-Cell will be donating $25 every time someone enrolls in "Save the Children: Haiti Relief Fund".  If you enroll now, you can not only help your child but also help the children in Haiti.

Working together to accomplish an important goal is necessary to succeed.  If we all work together, we can make a huge difference in the way the world works.  Lend a helping hand when possible and support companies that take the time to give back.
