I adore spending time with my niece.  She reminds me of what it is like to be a kid.  Watching her in her quest for knowledge has to be one of the most rewarding things ever. I was so excited about bring the Beanie Boos Friends Game by Tactic Games over to her house.

This game is for children who are three years old and up.  You can have up to six players at a time.  I thoroughly enjoyed playing this game. The best part was watching my niece be fascinated by the different colors, numbers and shapes. 

The lovable characters make this game loads of fun.  We were so excited when we were able to help Peanut the Elephant find his Beanie Boos friends.  This game is a fun way to bond with a little one!

#DittyBopGame Review

DittyBop is a free music app that is available through iTunes.  First, you have to fill out your information and choose a character from one of these four:

Create a new session and choose your opponent.  You can search for a specific username, connect your DittyBop account with your Facebook account and play against a Facebook friend or you can choose a random opponent.  You even get to pick which genre you would like to start with.  You can choose from hot pop to Latin hits to oldies and more. 

The important rule to remember is that no words are allowed.  You must hum, whistle, beat box, etc.  Then you send it and see if they can guess correctly.  It's a great way to pass some time!   I love listening to and singing along with music.  This is a fun twist that is sure to entertain families everywhere.  If you hum a song particularly well, you can even share it on Facebook right from the app.  How cool is that?  What are you waiting for?  Download your copy and get your DittyBop on!

Review: Candy Land - Dora The Explorer

Take a rainbow journey with Dora and her friends! Share peppermints with Benny and lollipops with Isa, but watch out or the pesky Swiper will try to slow you down. The first to reach the fiesta wins! There's no reading required, so even the youngest Dora fans can play. For 2-4 players.

I went over to visit my nephew and pulled Candy Land - Dora The Explorer out of my bag and asked Damien if he wanted to play.  This took me back to my own childhood and reminded me of how much fun I used to have on family game nights.  Playing the Dora The Explorer version made the Candy Land experience brand new.  This is a great way to get the whole family together and have a good time.  We had a blast!
