Review & Giveaway: My Name Is Mary Sutter by Robin Oliveira

Mary is determined to make her dream a reality, no matter what other people think. For generations the women in her family have served as midwives. Not Mary, she wants to be the first woman to change all that. She wants to be a surgeon. When her aspirations as a surgeon didn't quite pan out, she went for the next best thing and became a nurse. The Civil War is bringing in too many patients and Mary tries her best to tend to every one of them.

It's impossible not to be touched by this book. There are moments where I literally just wanted to burst into tears. Whenever you are in the mood for a moving story that will tug at your very soul, pick up this book.

Review & Giveaway: Mary's Gone Crackers

Mary's Gone Crackers is the perfect snack for people with digestive issues. These wheat-free, gluten-free organic baked goods are easy on your stomach, which is a blessing if you ask me.

At first I thought that were going to be like a seasoned pretzel. I was out in left field. The Sticks and Twigs actually taste like a stick or twig (or at least how I would imagine they taste) with a little punch.

Available in 3 mouthwatering flavors: Chipotle-Tomato, Curry, and Sea Salt. In two sizes: 8 oz. bag or single serve 1.25 oz. bags. The Chipotle Tomato was my favorite out of all the flavors. I do recommend mixing it with something like chip dip, peanut butter or salad dressing. After being able to snack and still feel good made me realize how much of a blessing these snacks are.

The Sea Salt are my second favorite. My favorite way to eat this was with ranch dressing. Yum!

I couldn't really get into the Curry flavor.
