From Dial Up To High Speed Internet

Certain friends and family members of mine have had to wait a long time to get internet service because of where they live. I never even thought about what it would be like to not get on the internet at home. I know that I'm a bit addicted to it because we even had it when dial-up was the only service available and you had to pay by the hour. I use the internet for many different reason. I use it to listen to music, catch up on one of my favorite TV shows when I miss an episode and I use it to work from home. I also use it to check out upcoming movies and talk to my friends and family.

If you live in a rural area and haven't switched from dial up to high speed internet, you could look into the wild blue internet provider. Once you use high speed there is no going back. It still amazes me how much information is at my fingertips. Whenever I have a question, I search for the answer and try to familiarize myself with certain helpful sites. I don't know what I could do if that wasn't possible. I love being able to hop on the computer even when I'm in a hurry. I love it!

  1. My parents are still on dial up because of where they live. They've looked at a few option..like hughes net? or something like that...but haven't done it yet.
