HEIRESS AND NHRA DRAG RACER, ALEXIS DEJORIA, RETURNS TO ENGLISHTOWN, NJ WHERE SHE NEARLY LOST HER LIFE IN A DEATH-DEFYING CRASH JUST ONE YEAR AGO

About Alexis DeJoria

Alexis DeJoria, daughter of John Paul DeJoria, of Paul Mitchell Systems, and PatrĂ³n Tequila, is currently the Top Female Top Alcohol Funny Car Racer. Her team, Stealth Motorsports, operated by Alexis herself, is the only female-owned and operated team. Alexis plans to change from Top Alcohol Funny Car to Nitro Funny Car in the upcoming drag racing season. In addition to being a drag racer and heiress, Alexis is also a mother of one. Rather than take advantage of the cushy life that has been created for her, Alexis’ need for adrenaline has kept her from taking over the Paul Mitchell brand. Instead, her need for speed continues to drive her and push her to higher levels in the dangerous, sometimes deadly, male-dominated sport of drag racing.

WHAT:

Alexis DeJoria, heir to billion dollar hair care company, Paul Mitchell Systems, will return to Englishtown, NJ on Wednesday, June 10th, where she will attempt to conquer the track that nearly killed her at last year’s NHRA SuperNationals. Just one year prior to her horrific crash, another drag racer was killed on this same track. Alexis’ courageous return to this race only proves her fearlessness and dedication to the sport.
