When Grace marries an older man who is close in age to her parents, they wonder what the hell their daughter is doing. Her husband, Lenny, is known throughout the area as an important hedge fund manager.

Things change when he loses $75 billion dollars. He takes off sailing, leaving his wife to clean up his mess. Grace is arrested and charged with securities fraud.

She escapes which then sets a cycle of events that shift her life once again. Mitch, a detective who is responsible for capturing Grace and bringing her back to jail.

Mitch can't help but be smitten with Grace and tries to help her, instead of bringing her in.

This book was OK. It wasn't spectacular but it wasn't dreadful either. It was entertaining at times and suspenseful at others. I think they could have cut out about a fourth of the book and it would have made for a better read.
