Maya and Rebecca might share blood and while they are both doctors, they couldn't be more different. Teen years are rough on everyone but Maya and Rebecca had it even rougher. Can you imagine being a teen and seeing your parents be murdered? Luckily, both of them made it out with their lives. This tragic experience has left them both with broken hearts. Maya is careful about everything she does while Rebecca is a free spirit.

A hurricane hits North Carolina and the two sisters, along with Maya's husband Adam, take a trip to help out with the relief effort. The helicopter that Maya was riding in goes down, Rebecca and Adam believe that Maya is dead and their relationship becomes something more. Little did they know that Maya is alive and stranded. What will happen when she returns home?

Loved it, loved it, loved it! Seriously, I loved everything about this book: writing style, plot, characters, everything. If you like to read, read this book.
