I believe that the hardest job of all is being a parent and I don't think tharing blood is what makes someone a parent. It's loving a child unconditionally through better or worse, through good times and bad. A lot of times people seem to think that outward beauty or an excelled intelligence is the best give they can give their child. While it's natural to want your child to live a full life, sometimes parents get a little carried away and don't realize that just having a child is a blessing, even if their raising a child with Down syndrome.
This book explores the possibility of a new found happiness that can be obtained without the negativity of our society. It gives you a head start so that you can start thinking about how much more important a good personality is, or the way a child can be free in ways that are forgotten as a person ages.
This is the perfect book for someone who is pregnant or who has just had a baby. It will open your eyes even if you don't realize that your eyes had been closed.
