#Carmex Hydrating Lotion & Healing Cream Review & #Giveaway

I have really dry skin all year but the winter season is especially hard on my skin.  I have tried several different types of lotions and creams but the majority of them actually made my skin feel worse.  Not only does my skin get extremely dry, it is also sensitive.  I have read and also heard that the best time to use lotion is right after you get out of the shower.  This is because your pores are open and will absorb the lotion better. 

The day that I received my Carmex package that included the Hydrating Lotion and Healing Cream, I knew that I would use it right away.  After hopping out of the shower, I applied some Carmex Hydrating Lotion.  The first thought that popped into my head was, "wow, this even has the Carmex smell."  That's right, the lotion smells a lot like the lip moisturizer.  I was very happy that the Hydrating Lotion did not feel greasy. I hate when that happens.  I could feel the tightness of my skin ease up and that provided a welcome relief.

The next day, I decided to test out the Carmex Healing Cream.  After rubbing in a small amount on my arms, I noticed that it worked wonders on my cracked elbows.  The cream is perfect for overly dry areas like the elbows and heels.  My skin feels so soft and smooth after using these Carmex products for a week.  I love this stuff!

    I'd love to try Carmex lotions. I handle magazines all week long and what with papercuts and drying out from all the handwashing -- they really need some TLC!

    I love trying new lotions, I've used carmex lipgloss but not their lotions. I wash my and lotions my hands a lot, so I would love this.
