Saturday Series

OK, so I've been trying to think of which series to start with because I love so many. I decided to do the most logical thing and start with Harry Potter since I'm reading "Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban". I know, I know, I'm so late. I always knew that I would become engrossed in this series. I absolutely love magic and fantasy and adventure. I also knew that with a book like this, there was going to be a series. I'm a complete weirdo and decided that I was going to wait until all 7 books were out to begin my Harry Potter world. Yes, I know, the 7th book has been out for a while, what the hell have I been doing? Honestly, I don't know. But one night my brother-in-law was over and we got to talking books because we both love to read. He was so shocked when I told him I hadn't read them. So my sister and I went to their house and I came home with all 7 books. I read the first 2 a while ago and then I got addicted to the wonder world of blogging. I started to talking to all these cool authors and publishers and agreed to review books. So I had to push Harry Potter aside for a while. Then last week I decided that I will mainly focus on the books sent to me for review but every now and then I'm going to read one just for me. Don't get me wrong, I'll still post a review about it. Oh and just so everyone knows I will NOT watch a movie that is based on a book unless I've read the book. I find books much more fascinating and the movies usually just ruin everything. So I've only seen the first 2 Harry Potter movies too. I've got to get on the ball and finish reading them before the next movie comes out!

What about you guys? Have you read the Harry Potter series? Do you enjoy it or do you think it's more for kids? I'm a big kid at heart and always will be so I'm in love with this series.
