There are many ailments that run in my family and because of this, I am trying to take better care of myself. It has recently been upgraded and is FDA approved. The Oximeter reads your blood oxygen saturation levels and pulse. It only takes 10 seconds and the LED display makes it easy to see your results. The top number is your blood oxygen saturation level and the bottom number is your pulse. When you purchase this item, you receive 2 triple A batteries so you can start using it right away. On the top left of the LED screen, you can see how much battery life there is so you know when it's time to replace the batteries. The silicon cover keeps your device from getting damaged. Every home should have one of these. I am so glad that I can use it any time I feel like it. It gives me piece of mind. Plus, it's kind of fun to have it here. I know I'm a nerd but I like using medical devices. It reminds me of being a kid and pretending I was a nurse.
