Review: Dion Roy CD

Dion's Gallery album came out in June of this year and his music has been compared to Ryan Adams, Pete Yorn and Snow Patrol. He wrote and performed his own music. He was born in Namibia but grew up in South Africa and now resides in New Jersey.

Alonso Dominguez, the editor of A Small World Magazine said "his sound is a fresh twist on the songwriter genre".

Lindsay Klein is a DJ for WHDA 105.5 FM and she said "in an era of computers and technology Dion awakens my ears with his raw and natural talent".

This CD has a soft sound that is great for a calming feeling without being boring. I love listening to Dion Roy while I'm surfing the internet. My advice is to visit his site and listen to the first few minutes of a song. If it sounds like something you would enjoy listening to, then I recommend you buy it. His songs all have a similar feel to them, so if you like one, you will more than likely like them all.
