Hanna is head over heels in love with Seth and she just knows that they are destined to be together. Helen has many regrets about the life she leads but most of all she regrets that she never came clean with Hanna about all the lies she's told. Helen wanted nothing more than for Hanna to be happy and in her attempt to make this happen, she gave Hanna the stories that she thought Hanna wanted to hear instead of the truth. The guilt is eating away at Helen and she is determined to let Hanna know who she really is. Because of Helen's sickness, she is no longer able to talk. Instead, she writes her story and has it transferred to an audiobook. Will Hanna come to know the real Helen and love her for who she really is or will Hanna become so angry that she cuts Helen out of her life?

This is one of the most touching books I have ever read. It is beautifully written and extremely hard to put down. A must read for anyone who understands how beautiful and heartbreaking love can be.
