The Vicks Starry Night cool moisture humidifier features a projector that comforts your child while transforming the room into a starry night sky.
The day after I received this in the mail, I was told that my nephew hadn't been feeling good. When I saw him that night, his little nose was running and his eyes were puffy. He kept sneezing and looked miserable. Luckily, I had brought the Vicks Starry Night Humidifier with me to give to him. When we set it up, I was excited to see it in action. I love the glow in the dark stars that you can put on your ceiling and I was sure that Damien would enjoy seeing stars on his walls as well. I was impressed with how quiet the machine is when it's running. The next morning Damien woke up and he was still a little sick but he looked like he had a better nights sleep and he didn't sound nearly as congested. The humidifier was used again the next night and after that, Damien was good as new. The really cool thing is that you don't have to have the humidifier running to use the starry effect, so he can enjoy that even when he's feeling great. This would make a perfect gift!

This is totally what I need. I have alot of trouble going to sleep because my room is really dry so I wake up at least 4 times each night because of my dry throat
ReplyDeleteOh this is too funny, my sister and I were talking tonight about how we would love to find one of the older humidifiers my Mom used when we were kids that you could add the Vicks vapor rub to. How when Mom did that it made us feel so much better. we got to talking about it because my great niece (a little under 2) has a bad cold right now and is so stuffed and coughing all night. I have got to find one of these now.
ReplyDeleteI SO need one for my nursery! I have an 11 month old, and another due in January, and we have no humidifier! Plus I LOVE the stars!

I love that this runs for so long and that it's a cool humidifier. It gets so dry here in the desert and a humidifier is a lifesaver here
ReplyDeleteCan't do without a humidifier in winter..and the stars are really neat, too!
ReplyDeleteThis sounds like a really cool product. You know how much Jordan likes lights. This would be great for him!
ReplyDeleteWhat a really groovy idea...my young ones are always suffering from Croupe in the winter and a humidifier is our best friend...however...one that lights up stars would be fantastic indeed~!!!!!
ReplyDeleteI need a humidifier so so bad. This one is super cute with the stars. I hope we can get one for our baby-to-be.
ReplyDeleteGreat Review. Humidifiers are wonderful for a child's room or even your own bedroom. This one from Vicks sounds wonderful.
ReplyDeleteMy son being born a preemie gets sick all of the time :(
ReplyDeleteWe had a so-so humidifier and when I went to go get it this week it was broken :(
This one is cool though with the starry night projection and the soothing vapors scent pads!
Thanks for the review!
My first baby is due next week & we had this on our baby registry, but for some reason no one bought it for us! I think it would be a great addition to the nursery. My husband is actually the one who picked it out.
ReplyDeleteThis looks fantastic! We need a new humidifier and this seems to have everything - even the cute design & star display for the kids! I will definitely put this on my buy list. Thanks for the review!
ReplyDeletethis sounds like a great humidifier. the stars on the ceiling might help a sick child fall asleep easier. they can focus on the stars and not on being sick. thanks
