Trouble Sleeping

I haven't posted many reviews/giveaways lately because I've been having trouble sleeping. I lay in bed and I just keep thinking and thinking and thinking. It's never-ending. No matter what I do I can't get my brain to shut up. In the past 48 hours I have probably slept 4 hours. Because of this, I constantly feel a little out of it. Sleeping pills aren't even working. I don't know what else to do.

  1. Oh No. I hope you are not dreaming about what reviews/giveaways you want to try next. ;-P I hope you find the off switch for your brain soon. ;-) I am a a new follower. Plz visit me when you have some time. I'd love you to follow back.
*I am a newbie so any tips or hints or advice is ALWAYS welcome. Thx

  2. Have you tried writing down what's on your mind? I used to have trouble sleeping when I was worried or had a lot on my mind. I made lists of what was bothering me or what bills needed to be taken care of. Once I did that, sleep would usually come. I guess I was worried I would forget what I was worried about! I hope you can find a's miserable to not be able to sleep

  3. Try Calms Forte. Non-habit-forming.

Another thing that works is a visualizing thing. You visualize yourself going to a closet or wherever you would keep a chalkboard and get it out. Then you visualize yourself writing the number 100. Then visualize erasing it. And continue each number down til you fall asleep. If you lose your place you start at 100 again. Usually people fall asleep by about 83. I have gotten all the way through before though.

Basically, it blocks out the other thoughts going through your head.

Good luck. And no TV or computer within a couple hours of bed either.

    I hate it when I can't sleep.

  4. Are you an exerciser? I know that when I can't sleep, I up my cardio and then I'm able to sleep at night. Good luck! Thanks for following me! I'm a new follower of you now.
