Guest Post: A Cabin on a Quiet Lake

The Author of this post is Freddy Savage

It's finally vacation time, and we're heading to a cabin on Lake Ouachita in Arkansas this year. We found this place on the Internet by searching for dog friendly accommodations. Our dogs have too many health problems to be boarded at a kennel, so they're going with us.

I'm not sure we would have been able to find a place like this without using our satellite wireless internet to search the Internet. There just aren't a lot of ways to find current information on vacation spots that also allow your dogs. We wanted to find a cabin on a lake that was an easy drive from here in Texas.

We searched through a variety of dog friendly accommodation websites, looking specifically for lakeside cabin rentals with kitchens in Louisiana, Oklahoma and Arkansas. These websites made it easy to find what we wanted, and we quickly narrowed down the search to a few locations.

The location we finally chose had a great website that provided a lot of pictures of the inside of the cabin, the grounds surrounding the cabin, and views of the lake from the cabin. Reservations were easy to make online, and the price for our stay is very reasonable.

We're all packed and ready to go on what should be a great trip!
