Review: The Big Renovation on DVD

Learn about architecture, framing, electricity, plumbing and all the tools it takes to build a house. Watch how ceramic tiles are made and see a real sawmill in action. You'll even learn about termites. Meet the architect, the contractor and see the whole team work together to create a new house.
From Little One Books

This exciting DVD teaches a child all about the home building process.  My nephew was in heaven while watching The Big Renovation.  It's informative and fun for the entire family.

  3. Wonderful! I love educational materials that help kids/us understand how everyday objects function. That's why I'm such a big fan of David Macaulay's The Way Things Work. I also find the topic of house construction fascinating! Adults who watch this DVD with their kids may also enjoy reading the book House by Tracy Kidder. Thanks for this review and for pointing my way to this DVD!
