Review: Scalp Massager

I was in a pretty bad car accident a few years ago and ever since then, my body has been in an enormous amount of pain. My spine is constantly hurting, all the way from my head down to my tailbone. If I had my way, I would get a massage done every single day but since that isn't practical, I try home remedies that won't break the bank. My husband used to come home all the time with different massager's that were supposed to work miracles. He knows how much pain I am in each and every day and I am truly blessed to have someone who cares as much as he does about me. He has bought me several different heat and massage pads that you can sit on or lay on. He bought me inserts for my shoes that are supposed to help alleviate back pain and he rubs my back every now and then. A few items I tried helps alleviate the pain for a few minutes but we could not find something that would actually help ease the pain for a long period of time.

I received an Electric Scalp Massager to review and it has helped me tremendously.  You can use it on areas other than your scalp and it works wonders on my spine.  I get a lot of headaches that are caused from my neck pain and this product really helps reduce the pain.  It soothes muscles and helps break up the tension which makes the pain bearable.  James never uses anything like this, so when I told him to try it over the weekend when he started complaining of a headache, he was reluctant at first.  Eventually I convinced him that the worse thing that would happen is that it would do nothing.  I turned it on and held it on his scalp and he was in complete shock.  He couldn't believe how well the scalp massager worked.  Later on, he was saying that he must have pulled a muscle in his leg while moving some items around the house.  I told him to sit down and show me where it hurt.  It was his upper thigh and after using the massager on his leg for about five minutes and then he was able to stand on it again.  I've used it everyday for the past week, on different parts of my body.  It works great on my shoulders and lower back.  I love it!

  1. If I don't win one, I'll have to buy one. This would be a great gift. Thanks for reviewing this product. I would have not known it existed.

  6. I've seen the non-motorized version and thought they looked kind of cool but worried they would be just one more thing around the house.

Thanks for your review. This is something that does seem interesting. I work with disabled kids and a lot have sensory issues. This looks like something different than the vibrating toys that we use that might be helpful.

  12. I gave a scalp massager at a White Elephant gift exchange. It was very popular and it sounds like this one would be even better.
