Review & Giveaway: The Calligrapher's Daughter by Eugenia Kim

Najin wasn't given a name right away. She was finally called Najin after the birthplace of her mother. When Najin is fourteen, she is one of the very few who doesn't get married, thanks to her mother. Najin attends school and is very serious about her education and even saves up to go to college. Najin longs for opportunities that are not available to her. She learns that a man named Calvin is to be her husband. After fighting the marriage, Najin learns that this knight in shining armor wants to take her to the land of opportunity, America.

I fell in love with this book! This book should be on the high school requirements list because it includes so many important life lessons. Five stars, easy!
