The Woodrow Wilson Teaching Fellowship

This is a Sponsored Post written by me on behalf of Woodrow Wilson. All opinions are 100% mine.

As I have mentioned before, a lot of people I know have decided to go back to school and get a degree.  Woodrow Wilson Teaching Fellowship offers a master's degree program in one the following four fields science, technology, engineering and math (STEM). Recent graduates in STEM fields can receive a $30,000 stipend to earn their masters at one out of fourteen different universities.  In order to receive this, you must have an undergraduate degree by June 2011 in one of the STEM fields.  You will need to have at graduated with at least 3.0 GPA.  They also expect candidates to show their commitment to both the program and their future.  Students must complete a field-based master's degree in teachers education.  Once you are ready to teach, you have to spend at least three years teaching in a high school.  You will receive support and help in the classroom. This might just be the break you were looking for.  It's a great program for people who will be graduating or are making a change in their career.

If you would like to learn more or are interested in filling out an application, you can visit www.wwteachingfellowship.org.  The deadline for applications is September 1st.
