My husband is the chef of the house and he has to have a fully-stocked spice rack or he refuses to cook. He makes some of the best food I have ever tasted. He is also really particular about everything having it's place, so kitchen spice racks are a necessity.
Right now we use a wall spice rack an I like it a lot better than the ones that sit on the counter. We already have limited counter space, so I try to minimize the amount of items on there, including spice racks.
