Pain
I am in pain all day, everyday. I have been told that I have arthritis and Fibromyalgia. I have tried several medications and the only ones that seem to work are way too expensive, even with health insurance. I read a Review of Trigosamine, and I'm thinking about trying it. It's so hard to find something that minimizes the pain. I worry about taking prescription medication because of the nasty side effects that are released later on. The only types of pills I am comfortable taking are all natural.

i know from pain since early forever. one thing you need to do is talk to doc...internist and pain management both. talk to them about script vs natural. did you know for example that some scripted drugs might be considered natural as they have to artificial ingrediance? let them know about financial concerns. sometimes they can steer you in the right direction...or help you get in touch with a company rep who might be able to help. and talk to them about what you are currently taking...a bunch of 'natural' stuff mixed together can cause you as many problems as scripted ones can! i take calcium citrate with d because my dr informed me that calcium carbonate = ROCKS. remember, kiddo, this is all chemistry...which means if you're not careful what you mix, it may explode. if we are an over medicated society, sometimes it is our own fault because we assume that 'natural' is safe, no matter how we mix it and 'drug' is bad...addition, side effects, etc... but people have peanut allergies and they are natural. ok, back in my hole. just wanted to give you something to chew on.
ReplyDeleteSorry to hear that you have fibro and arthritis pain. I have had them for a very long time. I don't know anything about that medicine that you saw in the ad, but these are the things that have helped me with pain:
ReplyDelete1. Biofreeze gel
2. Lidocaine pads
3. warm bathes.
4. massage
5. warmed bag of rice and herbs laid on the painful area like the
shoulders
I tried pain medicine but gave up on it because
1. Now I have tinnitis as a side
effect
2. It didn't do anything for the
fibro pain
3. It made my stomach burn

My warnings are: If you have an egg white allergy and/or shellfish allergy...forget this treatment. And you should discuss naturopathic/homeopathic meds with your regular md.
