Review: Unforgivable by Laura Griffin
TRACING KILLERS IS MIA VOSS’S BUSINESS.
AND HER WORK JUST GOT PERSONAL.
AND HER WORK JUST GOT PERSONAL.
At first, Mia Voss thinks it’s just bad luck when her already lousy day ends with a carjacking. But what seems like a random incident is followed by another sinister episode. A DNA expert, Mia has made it her mission to put away vicious criminals. Suddenly, she’s become the target of one. And the only way to protect the people she loves most is to deliberately destroy her reputation and risk letting a killer walk free.
Once, Mia trusted Detective Ric Santos. That was before Ric let his turbulent past ruin his chances with Mia, the sexiest, most intriguing woman he’s ever met. But he can tell when she’s lying—and when she’s scared. The key to catching a sadistic madman lies within a long-buried cold case that has haunted Mia for years. Only she can uncover the truth, but first, Ric will have to get her to entrust him with her secrets . . . and her life.

I'm a sucker for a good detective story and Laura knows how to keep my interest. Her books always have the right amount of romance and suspense. I'm addicted to the Tracers series and Unforgivable is my favorite so far. I can't wait to see what happens next! Five stars.

HOLIDAY GIFT GUIDE Review: Axe Shampoos
There are certain items that every man would be happy to get - a Playstation 3, Axe products and Megan Fox are three that come to mind - this holiday season.
Heat Igniting Citrus 2 in 1 Shampoo & Conditioner - With a seductive combination of spice and citrus, AXE Heat warms your senses and gets your head in the game.
My husband was a little leary of this shampoo because he had never used shampoo that had the word "heat" in the title. He said that it was the most soothing shower he had ever taken and the best part was that it didn't make him want to go to sleep because of the invigorating citrus scent.
Downpour Refreshing Mint Shampoo - Formulated with peppermint leaf extract, AXE Downpour gives you a refreshing clean so you you're ready for whatever lies ahead.
When he got out of the shower he said that his head never felt so clean. He shaves his head, so there is only a teeny bit of hair there but he really liked this stuff! He said it tingled when he was using it and he could actually feel it working.
Zen Soothing Tea Tree Shampoo - Infused with real tea tree extract, AXE Zen gets you calm and centered so you can focus on the day (or night) ahead.
He used the Zen shampoo this morning and said that he felt ready to go which is great because he drives a truck all day and I hate when he leaves feeling sluggish. This one smells the best, he said.

Review: Wolf Fever by Terry Spear
She may be his destiny, but she's not his first choice...
Hospital nurse and newly turned red werewolf Carol Woods is being pressured by her pack leader to find a mate, but he's the only guy in the pack who remotely attracts her.
Why is he playing so hard to get?
The fate of the pack rests on his shoulders...
Gray pack leader Ryan McKinley doesn't want anything to do with Carol unless she's willing to embrace her wolf nature-no matter how beautiful she is.
But when a virus infects the local lupus garou pack, Ryan realizes just how wrong he's been not to seize the moment with the woman he's come to love. And now, it may be too late...
From Amazon
I love werewolves and I love Terry Spear. Need I say more? Her books are always fun and never disappoint. The plot was intense and the virus had me on the edge of my seat. Carol and Ryan's characters made the story even better. Four stars!

ADULT HOLIDAY GIFT GUIDE Review: Butterfly Kiss
Feel the flutter of this multi-speed waterproof twice-as-nice vibe. Small yet surprisingly strong, the butterfly’s buzzing wings kiss the clitoris, while the teardrop tip curves to caress the G-spot. Wonderful for those overwhelmed by similarly styled rabbit vibes, the Butterfly Kiss is a super starter vibrator for simultaneous stimulation, both in price and function.
Butterfly Kiss Waterproof Vibrator
Purple or Pink TPR
7” long, 3” insertable, 1 ¼” in diameter (7.62 cm x 3.17 cm)
Uses two AAA batteries (not included)
Volume: 2; Intensity: 4
From the Good Vibration's website
The Butterfly Kiss Waterproof Vibrator is the best toy I have ever used. I won't go into any gory details but believe me when I say it hits all the right spots and leaves the user feeling fully satisfied. This would make a great gift, especially for the women who have husbands in the military. My hubby was in the Army and I would have loved to have this while he was overseas.

Review: Halo by Alexandra Adornetto
Three angels are sent down to bring good to the world: Gabriel, the warrior; Ivy, the healer; and Bethany, a teenage girl who is the least experienced of the trio. But she is the most human, and when she is romantically drawn to a mortal boy, the angels fear she will not be strong enough to save anyone—especially herself—from the Dark Forces.
Is love a great enough power against evil?
From Barnes & Noble
My first thought after finishing this book was, woah! I was captivated at the start and the book just kept getting better and better. I was stunned when I found out that Alexandra was 14-years-old when her first book was published. If you are a fan of the Young Adult genre, you HAVE to read Halo. It's truly a work of art. Five stars!

Energizer Introduces New Inductive Charger
Leads the way with one of the first universal Qi technology products to market
ST. LOUIS (Sept. 2, 2010) – As consumers rely more heavily than ever on devices such as smartphones and cell phones for everything from texting and talking, to working and shopping, their demand for more power and more convenient charging options has skyrocketed. Energizer, a leader in innovative power solutions that make consumers’ lives easier, recognized this growing need and responded with the introduction of their first inductive charger built with Qi technology, the new universal charging standard developed by the Wireless Power Consortium (WPC).
Widely anticipated and considered to be one of the most compelling new developments in charging technology, Qi (pronounced chee) will bring consumers the freedom to charge their smartphones, MP3 players, cameras – any device 5 Watts or less – on a single charging station, regardless of manufacturer.
“We believe that a universal standard is the future of charging, and by leading the way with one of the first Qi products – the Energizer® Inductive Charger – we are meeting a clear need for a product that makes charging devices easier by eliminating cords and clutter," said Jim Olsen, Vice President of Marketing for Energizer North America. “This next generation charger is a natural extension of an innovative product portfolio that brings more freedom for people to live and to work using power that’s reliable and convenient.”
According to market research firm iSuppli, Corp., shipments of electronic products with wireless charging capability are anticipated to increase from 3.6 million units in 2010, to 234.9 million units in 2014. An open, standardized system will create a healthier competitive environment and prompt manufacturers to join forces.* The WPC had this very goal of global compatibility in mind when they formed an international group of more than 55 companies to develop this universal standard.
“The WPC and dedicated members like Energizer have been hard at work developing and testing this universal standard, and we are honored to have a brand with the global reach of Energizer as one of the first to market with a Qi inductive charger,” said Menno Treffers, Chairman of the Wireless Power Consortium. “They are helping to establish and educate about Qi and drive adoption, benefiting consumers and the industry as a whole.”
Designed in cooperation with WPC co-founder ConvenientPower, the first generation of the Energizer® Inductive Charger is designed to conveniently charge up to three devices at one time. It features two large inductive charging zones that don’t require locking the device into a precise position, so consumers can simply set down their phone and be sure that it will be charged and ready to go. It also has a USB port so it’s easy to charge an additional device such as a phone, headset, mp3 player, camera or GPS. Two LED charge lights indicate that the device is charging.
The Energizer® Inductive Charger will be introduced with a Qi Sleeve for the iPhone® 3GS/3G and a one-time replacement Qi Door for the BlackBerry® Curve™ 8900, so consumers can enjoy the convenience of Qi right away. Soon, consumers can expect to have Qi built right into many of their devices.
“As one of the first to market with a Qi device, we want to make it easy for consumers to experience how easy and convenient it is to charge their devices using this new universal standard,” added Olsen. “We focused on accessories for popular smartphones, but anticipate that it will not be long before manufacturers roll-out devices with Qi built right in.”
The Energizer® Inductive Charger will be available at retail this October. Suggested retail price is $89. The removable Qi sleeve for the iPhone® 3GS/3G and the Qi door for the BlackBerry® Curve™ 8900 will be sold separately for $34.99 each.

Make Some Money While Saving The Planet
I try to do my part in helping the planet whenever possible. I know that we can't completely stop destroying it but we can do little things here and there to help. I recycle things like cans, plastic and paper. I also turned off paper statements and just receive my bills online. My favorite way to help the earth is by using reusable shopping bags instead of paper or plastic for my groceries. One thing that a lot of people overlook is recycling their cell phones. I got my first mobile phone when I was 17 and since then, I have probably owned twenty different phones, if not more. Most of them I gave away when I upgraded to a newer model. I am sad to say that others have just ended up in the trash. I recently found out about a program for phones for cash. Instead of throwing away your old cell phone, you can recycle it. By doing that, you are not only saving the planet, you are making a little money. With the holidays right around the corner, I'm sure everyone, including my self, could use a little extra cash.

Review: Critical Condition: A Novel (Angels of Mercy) by CJ Lyons
In the middle of a New Year's Eve blizzard, the staff and patients of Angels of Mercy Hospital are held hostage by armed gunmen. Their target is Dr. Gina Freeman, who is holding vigil over her wounded fiancé, Detective Jerry Boyle. Stranded outside the hospital is ER physician Linda Fiore, whose past holds the secret the hitmen are willing to kill for. With the cold-blooded killers in control, no one may live to see the New Year.
From Barnes & Noble
I enjoyed this book so much! It was like watching an extremely in-depth episode of Grey's Anatomy - which is one of my favorite shows. I loved CJ's writing and she kept me intrigued from start to finish. The characters are real and I'm now addicted to this series. Five stars!
