About a month and a half ago, I was baking a pizza and when I went to pull it out, my hand accidentally hit the inside of the oven door. At first it just stung a little, so I didn't think the burn was all that bad. About five minutes later, the burn area began to feel like it was on fire. I was using oven mitts, not gloves. Now I know that if I had been wearing gloves, that wouldn't have happened.
Now that I have these Silicone Heat Resistant Gloves, I no longer need to worry about dinner resulting in a burn. These gloves are 100% food grade silicone and FDA approved. They are really well made and are effective with high temperatures - up to 425 degrees Fahrenheit. Don't worry about getting food on these. Clean up is really easy. They can put right in the dishwasher. They are slip resistant unlike my previous pair of oven mitts.
I didn't have any trouble getting these gloves on and off. My husband did though. He had trouble getting them on and taking them off. My guess is because his hands are so much bigger than mine. Other than that, these gloves are amazing!
