Review: The Heretic Queen by Michelle Moran
Nefertari is the sole surviving member of the royal family when the palace goes up in flames. Her family was viewed as heretics and she was quickly overlooked. She had the opportunity to roam the palace and do as she pleased. When her aunt, Nefertiti visits the palace and decides to teach her about a queen's duty, Nefertari's life is forever altered.
I love to read about strong woman who not afraid to stand up when the time is right. This was a fantastic novel! Michelle, you rock!
