One of the best things about having the internet is having the ability to make some money without having to leave your home. I like to take paid surveys and then use that money for a little something extra for myself. Sometimes I use it to go to the movies and other times I use it to try out some new, funky makeup. I like the monetary gain but I also like having my opinions count with companies and manufacturers. Public opinions are the best way for companies to boost their sales and it's also a great way for people to earn a little extra cash.

Getting paid to take surveys, whether it's cash or a gift card, brightens my day. I remember completing one survey that had a few different menu items that were going to be added to a fast food menu. My opinion did count and the product that I picked was the one that the company started advertising. It only takes a short amount of time to complete most surveys.

I started to complete surveys a couple of years ago and I have even referred several friends to take part in this activity. Some of them decided that it was worth looking into and others said that they didn't have time for such things. When they see a new outfit that I was able to purchase in exchange for taking part in a few short surveys, their opinion sometimes changes. My husband even started taking part in surveys and he gets excited when he can get $25 of free gas.
