Giveaway: TuneUp Utilities 2011

PC optimization specialist TuneUp has launched the next installment of its award-winning software, TuneUp Utilities. The software will enable Windows 7, XP and Vista users to get their PCs into top shape with a number of new tuning features and enhancements of its trusted optimization tools. TuneUp Utilities is designed to keep PCs running smoothly, extend their lifecycles and provide users with a noticeable boost in speed and performance. The software is a great and inexpensive alternative to purchasing a brand new computer.

Key features of the new version include:
· With the new TuneUp Program Deactivator, users can turn off unused programs completely to avoid the loss of PC performance. Any services, start-up entries, background processes or scheduled tasks in a program that are turned off will remain inactive until they are needed again.
· TuneUp’s Turbo Mode is 10 times more powerful than before—with a single mouse-click, users can increase PC speed by shutting down more than 70 background processes that slow down Windows 7, XP and Vista.
· The Live Optimization feature is even more focused to speed up the program that a user is working with and prevent background programs from using up too much of the PC’s resources.

TuneUp Utilities will be available for download directly from TuneUp's website or through TuneUp Corporation's affiliate partners for $49.95. Consumers can buy the software in retail stores, including Micro Center, Fry's and OfficeMax, and e-tailers, such as Amazon.com and Newegg.com, for $39.95. Users of previous software versions can upgrade to the latest one for $29.95.
