First, I turned on the oven to pre-heat. Next, I mixed up the brownie mix, egg, oil, some chocolate chips and walnuts. Once that was done, I sprayed my Pyrex pan with PAM. After pouring the brownies into the pan and sticking them in the oven, all that was left to do was wait.
The brownies smelled wonderful! My mouth started watering and I didn't think they were ever going to cool. Lucky for me, my husband got home and distracted me for a bit.
I truly believe that if my spatula had been large enough,I could have pulled out it all out in one piece. They were so easy to cut and get out that it made me want to do some more baking right away. Once all of the brownies had been removed, I was left with a pan that had only a few crumbs stuck to it. When I've made brownies in the past, without using PAM, I normally had to scrape and scrape to get the chunks off.
That was not the case this time. I ran some water over the pan and most of the brownie residue just rinsed off. I really wanted to see how easy it was to clean, so instead of putting it in the dishwasher (like I would normally do), I grabbed my dish soap scrubby and literally only had to swipe it once to get off the goo. Of course I washed it more than that, but I was amazed at how easy clean up time was. I was left with a perfectly clean pan and hope to be using it again soon for some cake.
