Weird Al’s music is something that any kid with a sense of humor has to get into. Luckily, I was one of those kids and became a huge fan, putting his CDs into constant rotation. However, I grew older, got into other music, thought Weird Al wasn’t cool for a pre-teen and stopped listening to his music.
Then once I went off to college, by mom and younger brother were cleaning out my room at home one day and came across my stash of old Weird Al CDs. My brother was never the same after that. He used his satellite internet in West Virginia at home to send me music and performance videos of Weird Al via Facebook wall posts and e-mail. At first I responded with telling him that I don’t like the artist any more, but all the videos on highspeed internet in Kentucky reminded me of why I loved Weird Al so much in the first place.
As one of the biggest fans out there, my brother alerted me almost immediately after he found out that he was going on tour a few years ago from direct tv internet. Like any good older sister, I took him to the concert that summer while I was home from college and I have to admit it was an excellent show.

Just a few days ago my nine year-old asked if I'd ever heard the song, "Just Eat It" by Weird Al. He had no clue about the Michael Jackson original!
