Review: City of Refuge by Valerie Farber

Bat-Shachar is a very smart teenager. Her father's strict nature sends her running for the hills. The hills lead her to a pagan society and what she sees will haunt her forever. She makes a friend on her journey named Tzuriel and together they seek the city of refuge.

Valerie is a talented story-teller. This is a breathtaking novel that is unlike anything I've read before.
