Breast Cancer Awareness

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month and I would like to take this time to tell you about a couple of organizations that are fighting the battle against breast cancer. Cyro-Cell and the National Institutes of Health are working together by researching stem cells, in the hopes of finding a cure. I had no idea that menstrual blood is has tons of stem cells which are called C'elle stem cells. These C'elle stem cells are the main focus of research at this time.

There are two places that you can make a donation of your own: C'Elle Breast Cancer Donation
and Cyro-Cell Breast Cancer Donation

Cyro-Cell is offering $50 to the Susan B. Komen Foundation for each "Protect Baby, Protect Mom" service and $25 for each "C'elle Menstration Stem Cell" service purchased.

Have you lost someone close to you because of breast cancer? I'm interested in learning more about the advances in this type of stem cell research, how about you? I really hope that scientific research will soon produce a cure so that we don't lose the women in our lives to this devastating disease. If we can find a cure for this, maybe a cure for all the other deadly diseases will be found as well.
