Dining tables are important for people who host a lot of dinners and for when the family gathers for special occasions. I remember being a little girl and our kitchen table would all of a sudden grow when we had family over. Once I became I little older and investigated this mysterious happening, I found out that my parents had a bought a table that can be transformed from a small table into a longer one, just by adding an extra piece. The table went from a circle into a large oval shape.
I tend to gravitate toward casual dining furniture instead of formal dining furniture. I'm not a very formal person and I believe that a person's home should reflect who they are. Actually, I think everything a person owns should reflect who they are. Home is where the heart is, so show your heart in your home.
I would love to have a dining table out on our deck for when the weather is nice. It would be nice to sit out there and enjoy a meal while watching the sun go down. As I've said before, I'm a huge fan of food off the grill and what better place to eat grilled food than out in a nice breeze?
