In The Greenhouse

I can remember back in high school when we visited a greenhouse and how much I loved being a place that was so full of life. The smell was relaxing and there was a certain amount of calm that just washed over me. When my husband and I move, I would like to have a place where I would be able to set up one of the garden greenhouses. I am really interested in growing my own plants and experiencing the joy of planting something and watching it come to life. Since I have been doing a lot of cooking from scratch, it would also be nice to grow my own herbs. Those always seem to taste better than the store bought ones.

I have been looking into the lean to greenhouse which sits up against your home. This would be perfect for people who would like to have a greenhouse but lack the space needed for a full one. I can picture myself using this a place of solace. A place of my very own where I could turn to when I need to get away from the troubles of everyday life.

If I end up deciding that I don't have room for a full one or that I just want to grow a few different items, I could purchase one of the cold frame greenhouse which are a lot smaller. It would be a great way to start out and see how much you really use it before making a bigger purchase.

When I was younger, I used to help both my mom and my grandma plant trees and flowers. I always had a blast doing this and I don't why I haven't tried it lately. It's weird how sometimes you can really enjoy things but you get caught up with life and forget to take time out for the little things that bring you happiness. I used to get so much enjoyment from watching plants and trees grow. I never realized how much I missed it until this moment. I'm going to go plant something right now, so I'll talk to you guys later. Not really because there's snow on the ground.
