Yummy Recipes With French's Mustard

CHICKEN WITH CREAMY DIJON HERB SAUCE

FRENCH'S® Dijon Mustard

cream cheese spread, softened

minced herbs (parsley, basil or chives)

boneless skinless chicken breasts

minced garlic

MIX broth, mustard, cream cheese and herbs until well blended; set aside.

COOK chicken in hot oil in nonstick skillet until browned on both sides, about 15 min.

STIR in mustard sauce and garlic. Simmer over medium heat 3 to 5 min. until sauce thickens slightly and flavors are blended.
Makes
4 servings 
Tip: Substitute 2 tbsp. prepared pesto sauce for the herbs.


SALMON WITH DIJON SAUCE

Salt and pepper to taste

lemon juice

SEASON salmon with salt and pepper. Place into greased baking dish, skin side down.

MIX remaining ingredients. Reserve 1/3 cup sauce. Spread remaining sauce over salmon pieces.
3.
BAKE salmon at 400°F for 10 to 15 min. until salmon is cooked through. Serve with the reserved mustard sauce.

Italian bread, cut 1/2-inch thick

thinly sliced deli ham

sliced Swiss or Fontina cheese

tomato, thinly sliced

SPREAD 1 tbsp. mustard on each slice of bread.

ARRANGE ham, cheese and tomato on 4 slices bread, dividing evenly. Cover each with second slice of bread, mustard side down.

MELT butter in large nonstick skillet. Cook sandwiches until golden brown and cheese melts, turning once. Cut in half to serve.

Tip: Sandwiches may be prepared in panini or sandwich grill.

  1. These recipes look great. I don't normally use mustard, don't know why, but I think I should add a bit to what I eat, especially salmon. Yum!
