My husband and I were watching episodes of The Big Bang Theory and started looking for something to munch on. One of my favorite snacks is a delicious bowl of salsa paired with tortilla chips. When I looked in the kitchen cabinet, I saw that I could make us our very own Aunt Nee's Salsa. My husband was a little shocked when I pulled out the can of Hunt's diced tomatoes and a packet of seasoning.
We both wanted to see the process from start to finish, so we worked as a team. The medium salsa was ready in an instant and we were ready to dive right in. The aroma was intoxicating. I took the first bite, I'm not quite sure if it was a "ladies first" thing or an "I grabbed the bag of chips first" thing. Either way, I was so happy when I finally got a mouth full. The salsa struck a nerve with my taste buds and I am hooked on Aunt Nee's salsa.
Absolute perfection! I can't wait to make the mild salsa and see how great it tastes! James said that we can't make it until we get some Velveeta cheese to mix with it, which means that I will be visiting the grocery store sooner than expected.
