Review - Lady and the Tramp Diamond Edition

SYNOPSIS:

A classic love story unfolds in the best Disney tradition as a lovely young pedigreed cocker spaniel named Lady, who lives a pampered life, finds herself falling romantically for Tramp, an amorous street-smart pooch without prospects. Although they have fun together on several dates, including a sentimental spaghetti dinner by moonlight at Tony’s restaurant, their relationship is strained not only by Lady’s loyalty to her human family and their newborn baby, but by Tramp’s devil-may-care attitude that eventually gets Lady in trouble and tossed into the dog pound. However, good-hearted Tramp redeems himself by saving the baby from potential harm and thus wins Lady’s love and the affection of her human family.

MY THOUGHTS:

When I was a kid, I loved Lady and the Tramp! It was one of my favorite movies and I would watch it over and over again.  It is a love story that has stuck with me and probably has a lot to do with my love for dogs.  When I found out that they were releasing Lady and the Tramp Diamond Edition, I couldn't wait to share one of my favorite movies with my favorite little man.

My nephew loves it when I come over.  Most of the time when I show up to see him, I have something special to give him.  Yesterday, I went over to see him and my sister and I brought the Lady and the Tramp Diamond Edition with me.  As of this afternoon he had already watched it twice.  I love watching him enjoy a good, wholesome movie.  The graphics were better than I imagined and the special features really help bring this film alive.
