I spent my first seven years of growing up in San Diego, CA. When I turned eight, my family moved to Kentucky. After just a few months of living here, I became miserable. I still think that this is the allergy capital of America. I couldn't stop coughing, sneezing and my eyes would alternate from dry to runny. It was horrible. I had seen several doctors, including an ENT. When I was about 8 1/2, my mom took me to an allergy specialist and I received 100 shots in my back with different allergens. This was not fun but it was nice to finally know what was making me feel so yucky. One of the worst allergen for me is dust mites.
I have a tendency to snore. I just figured that it was something I was going to have to live with for the rest of my life. This wasn't really a problem until I got together with my husband. He was in the Army and soldiers are taught to tune into everything. Every little noise alerts him.
Imagine my surprise when I wake up one morning and my husband tells me that he was actually able to get some sleep. He said that I still had a minor snore but it wasn't as loud or as often as it usually is. A few more nights go by and my husband noticed a dramatic difference. The only thing that had changed was that I had received and used an Aller-Ease cotton pillow protector. I was snoring because of my allergies! Needless to say, I'm in love with this product!

10% to 15% of the entire population may be allergic to animals, and more than 70% have a cat or a dog. I had no idea the percentage was this high.

I learned that to keep allergen in check in the bedroom I should encase my mattress, box spring & pillows in highly effective allergen barrier covers, such as Aller-Ease protective bedding products.
