Rain Barrels

There are a couple of spots around the house that end up really muddy every time it rains. I think that it would be a good idea to purchase a couple of rain barrels. There have been times that I would take the dogs out and ended up sliding through the mud and was lucky I didn't fall. The area right by the gate would be the perfect spot for a rain water barrel.

I learned a little bit about rain harvesting and then I checked out some rain barrels for sale, and some of them are really stylish. Of course the most important part is how it works, but it's always nice to have a good looking item in your yard.
