Review: Dio: Evil or Divine (Remastered)

An American heavy metal band formed by Ronnie James Dio (Rainbow/Black Sabbath) and Vinny Appice (Black Sabbath). "Evil or Divine" is their live album recorded in New York City's Roseland Ballroom in 2002. The set list includes songs that span the length of Dio's distinguished career. Though favoring his early solo works, there is a bit of Rainbow, as well as Black Sabbath. The newer songs Push, Rock and Roll and Killing the Dragon fit in well with classics like Stand Up and Shout, Don't Talk to Strangers and Holy Diver. The album captures the essence of a Dio performance and can be recommended to all fans of heavy metal. The new digipak edition is limited to 1000 copies. Digitally remastered using 24-Bit process, released on a golden disc.

When I receive Dio: Evil or Divine (Remastered) from MVD Entertainment Group, I was so excited! My dad and I used to take little road trips and we would always listen to Dio, Jimmy Hendrix, Whitesnake and a few others. I knew that I would like it even before I put it in to play it but what shocked me was the exceptional quality. The only problem is that I let my dad borrow it and I have no idea when I'll get it back.
