When a good friend’s sister was diagnosed with leukemia, her request for her dream catcher necklace struck a chord in Rosenfeld, who remembered her own mother’s successful battle with breast cancer when she was young, and who desperately wanted to be of service. “It was during the forging of this dream catcher necklace for my friend’s sister that I noticed my artistic intent changing,” Rosenfeld relates. “I felt the need for my art to mean something, to do something for its wearer. It dawned on me that I could actually create something for a higher purpose.”
