The King and Dr. Nick by George Nichopoulos, M.D.

Elvis been an important figure in so many people's lives. The King was loved by millions and now Dr. Nick, who spent ten years with Elvis, has made the story available to fans everywhere. After Elvis's death, Dr. Nick had threats made to his safety and his reputation was ruined. Dr. Nick tells all about drug use and the King's life.

Elvis had already passed by the time I was born but just like every other person in the world, I have heard his music and some things about his life. It's hard to tell what is true and what has been construed by the media. Elvis helped change the face of music and deserves to have the truth known to all those willing to read. I know how much of a shock I felt when Michael Jackson's death was announced and I imagine that is how a lot of people felt about Elvis.

I've always found the life stories of entertainers fascinating. This book tells you who Elvis really was from a person who was right there through it all. If you're fan or if you just like to read about the stars, this is the book for you.

Disclosure: I received a copy of this book so that I could write an honest review.
