I've never thought that money or status equals happiness. I know that the most important things in life are free. Sometimes, I find it difficult to feel this way because I am human and we all want to live a life of luxury. I'm not stupid and so I know that money can't buy happiness. Some people don't understand this though. They think that they have to carry Coach purses and wear Prada shoes. I'm not knocking this, if that's what you like, then go for it. I just don't think that those things in themselves can make someone realize how special life is.

I'm always trying to figure out who I am and why I am the way I am. Reading this book just reinforced my beliefs. Being happy is better than being rich. Being with a man who truly loves you is more important than sleeping with a movie star. I found this book to be refreshing, especially in this age when people seem to chase the dollar instead of their personal happiness.
