James Sands is a very, very rich man and he has inside information about the government. He's about to control all public water in the Pacific Northwest. A group has formed and they call themselves, The Army of the Republic. They have taken it upon themselves to murder Sands business associate and now, they are after him. He's decided to spend a great deal of money to hire private security.
Lando is the Army's leader and he intends to rid his country of corrupt rulers. His partner in crime and friend, Emily, decide to have a peaceful protest. The problem is, other members of the Army have a completely different idea of how this situation should be handled.
This book is a mesh of violence, hope, anger and nobility. It's impossible not to get wrapped up in this!
